Hi, my name is Darren. I worked in various jobs I wasn’t passionate about before settling on becoming a counsellor.
I completed my training and became a fully qualified integrative counsellor, with my core beliefs being person-centred, where I can introduce elements of Psychodynamic theory and also use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques. During the first Lockdown of Covid-19, I undertook the CBT (L5) qualification and became a qualified CBT practitioner. I continue to develop my skills regularly.
Some areas I can offer support with (These are just to name a few).
Stress, Anxiety, Depression, neurodiversity, PTSD, Relationships, mood and obsessive disorders, confidence, low self-esteem, long-term illness, fears, anger, bereavement, and addictions.
